Office and Hours
The Office of Archives is the official repository of the Diocese of Belleville, Illinois. We collect, preserve, and make available the historical records of the offices, missions, parishes and schools of the Diocese. Through our holdings, we support the larger mission of the Diocese by serving as the collective memory of the activities of the Catholic community of faith in the region. We are the source for sacramental records of Diocesan parishes that have been suppressed. We also provide records management guidance to assist parishes, offices, and agencies in maintaining the necessary information to fulfill their responsibilities.
Our regular hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Please note: Wednesday office hours are observed only from August 15 through December 31 and from January 15 through May 15.
